Ceilidh – 3rd Feb 2012
On Friday 3rd February the club are organising a Ceilidh to be held at the Winter Gardens at Queen Elizabeth High School (7.30 pm). This is a free event for all current and past members and their partners and is to celebrate the life of Mike Fry, a long standing member of the club who sadly died in 2009. Mike was a flamboyant person, a former Drama teacher at Haydon Bridge School with a great sense of fun and he left the club a small legacy which we are using to put on this Ceilidh. Many members will remember him fondly.
There will be dancing to the Hedgehog’s Skin Band and a buffet supper. Even if you are not a Ceilidh lover do come along and watch the rest of us have a go!
Watch out for an e-mail early in January when we will be asking for names and sending out tickets to people who would like to come. Please put the date on your calendar now.
