Mary McGee was a coach and member of Tynedale Harriers for many years. She dedicated a lot of time to the junior section of the club, both in coaching and taking teams to Young Athletes’ League matches.
Mary McGee died in 2007 and, as a tribute to her and her work with the club, this Fund has been established in her name.
It is for the benefit of junior athletes who need financial help, whether with training, kit or travelling costs. Any junior athlete may submit one application per year on the form provided. Any claim will be considered by the Committee. The maximum amount per junior is 75% of any claim up to £200 in one calendar year.
