Tynedale play an active part in North East athletics and we take part in the following events at a team: North East Harrier League, Northumberland Sportshall Athletics Competition and the National Young Athletes League.
Athletes are encouraged to tke part in many open meetings and county, regional and national championships if they so wish.
We are proud of our tradition and we have a thriving junior section. The junior section of the club has produced many fine athletes including current GB Internationals Nick McCormick and Stacey Smith.
